LUAPULA EXPO & INVESTMENT CONFERENCE is presented by The Government of the Republic of Zambia through the Luapula Province Administration. Luapula Expo & Investment Conference is a business tour, expo and conference presenting numerous investment opportunities that are found within the province. The event will take place on 26thto 31st July in Luapula Province. His Excellency Edgar C. Lungu President of the Republic of Zambia will officiate the event.
As preparations for this great event finalise, it is important to take advantage of early registration and be aware of all the investment opportunities that will be presented.The event brings together local and international investors, decision makers, financiers and captains of industry. The high profile nature of the event will encourage a higher level of participation from important stakeholders and venture in key areas of industry: Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Livestock, Energy, Tourism, Mining and Infrastructure Development.Luapula Expo & Investment Conference has attracted the commitment and sponsorship of 55 major local and international corporations. Among them are Seed Co, Hass Petroleum, GED, Sunbird BioEnergy Africa, African Development Bank, Toyota Zambia, NAPSA, Ashtrom, African Development Bank and Sanlam. The Industrial Development Corporation, Citizenship Economic Empowerment Commission and Zambia Development Agency have also expressed support for the event.
The six day programme will have business tours from Mansa to Kawambwa, Nchelenge, Chiengi, Mwense, and Samfya where presentations and site tours will be made. Presentations by the African Development Bank, Luapula Chamber of Commerce are scheduled as well as business tours to Isubilo Palm Oil, the rubber plantation and Zaffico Tea Estates. Site tours at the major falls in the province have also been organised to showcase the Province’s hydro power projects.
The Luapula Expo & Investment Conference has been designed for institutions that are looking for a unique visibility opportunity and an exclusive platform for expansion of their business.
